Undeterred by initial hiccups followed by the devastating fire that gutted the old studio, BBA organisers certainly deserve a huge fat pat on the back for giving Africa a wonderful show that will be talked about for years to come.
Right now, you can 'cut' the tension with a knife. The effect of bringing in ten, strong in their own right, ex-Big Brother Africa housemates is mind-boggling, and bringing in a past BBA winner, Uti (from Nigeria) is the icing on the cake! They are all Big Brother Big-shots indeed.
Majority of the BBHotshots are on the 'war path' with their boisterous and rowdy new guests. The boring Hotshots have now woken up and 'shaken' vigorously' from their reverie. Maybe, just maybe they will become more entertaining when their ten guest leave.
In many ways, the ten guests are trying to make these housemates see themselves as they are, but those ones haven't gotten that into their heads yet. They are beginning to crack because they feel so, so threatened. It's not only about the $300K. I guess it's much easier to enjoy the game when you are not competing for the money.
Living in the Big Brother house is an opportunity of a lifetime. True, its good to end up the winner, no doubt, but there are immense opportunities open to each and everyone in the house after the show, if they play their game right.
It's really good to see Uti, Vimbai, Denzel, Luclay, Leonel, Miss P, Elikem, Natasha, Feza and Sulu of the " ...Is a Ruby" fame, have tremendous fun. They are really having a ball watching the Hotshots almost 'break'. One good thing though, there is now some kind of solidarity amongst the Hotshots, something that's been missing for weeks.
Tayo is cracking under pressure, Makey 2, hmmmm!, JJ is suspicious, probably because he's been a 'fake housemate' in the past, Idris is kind of playing along, Ellah is unfriendly towards Denzel, her fellow countryman, and Sheillah seems to be piping down after her spat with Elikem. And Miss P is promising us some big-time entertainment. The week is still young and we are sure there is more to come.
We wait and see; maybe we will get to see more entertainment in the house after the guests leave. One thing is for sure though, they will most certainly be shocked out of their skins when they find out they have been fooled by Biggie.
