He has been rubbed up the wrong way once again; Tayo, the
BBA housemate from Nigeria that is.
After some seeming respite from his upsets, Tayo felt like
letting off some steam after about 48 hours of some quiet calm. Singing out very loud
this morning, he caught the ire of Mr 265, the 23 year old Big Brother Africa housemate
from Malawi.
He told Tayo to keep quiet (or was it "Shut up?), saying “We have work to do here” .
. . referring to some of the guys sitting down discussing something, probably
about the new Wednesday night task. This remark made Tayo flip. A hot verbal fight ensued!
Ma'm Bea, Sipe, and JJ try to calm him down, and they eventually did. But as far as Tayo is concerned, the house is
too quiet, “yesterday, it was like a graveyard in this house” he shouts. Plus
he is getting irritated by those sitting here trying to act well behaved; exhibiting
qualities of “book-heads” and trying to use their intellect to impress Africa.
He shouts “This is Big Brother Africa show, and what do you
think we came here for, did we come here to rest?”
Well said in the opinion of many fans. Where is the BBA spirit? Seems to have 'flown out of the window' this season with everyone being so goody-goody two shoes!.
Their sojourn in the
BBA house is not as a relaxing holiday, but as a place where they have to
impress viewers enough to ensure the winner deserves the $300K. Sleeping, being
boring, and flying under the radar does not make BBA winners.
Tayo has vowed to scream and sing at the top of his voice if
ever and whenever he wishes. I guess he doesn’t care whose ox is gored!
Will this keep the house "on fire?" Doesn't this make you all miss Esther 'small pepper' and her entertaining noise?
